Philadelphia, PA 19131

- Original sheet music or authorized electronic copies are accepted on the Spring Festival day. Students who do not bring their music to the Spring Festival will be heard by the judge, but these students will only receive an “Honorable Mention” on their rating sheet.
- Concerto students are only required to perform one-(1) movement from a standard concerto by memory: they may not use sheet music during their performance.
- All students have the option to take the theory test – which they should select upon registration to the Spring Festival. The grade from the theory test does not count towards the performance rating by the judge.
- Teachers of participating students must be a standing member of PhMTA as of February 15th, 2025.
- Teachers who send students to the Spring Festival are required to help out onsite on the day of the Spring Festival event. We will email a sign-up sheet to all teachers two weeks before the Spring Festival.

- Students should arrive 15 minutes before their performance time to check in at the information desk.
- Due to limited time, students shall play through their repertoire without repeats unless it is indicated by da capo a fine.
- Please dress appropriately for the festival.
